One Wave
Yoga and Meditation Retreat
Bar Harbor, Maine
August 10-16, 2008

Join Michelle Morrison for six days of yoga and meditation, surrounded by the incredible beauty of Acadia National Park. Held at the College of the Atlantic (COA) on Mount Desert Island, this retreat is sure to rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit.

The retreat will include daily sitting meditation, yoga classes, workshops, and plenty of free time to rest, reconnect with nature, or explore the island towns.

Michelle’s classes are a nourishing blend of hatha and vinyasa yoga styles, sometimes referred to as “slow flow.” She integrates mindfulness techniques into her classes, encouraging students to balance effort with ease, proper alignment with playfulness. By practicing sustained awareness of body, breath, and mind, students are better able to recognize and let go of habitual patterns of holding, tension, or reactivity, freeing themselves up to live fully in the present moment.

To promote further relaxation and healing, a licensed massage therapist will be available on-site. (Additional fees apply.)
